P.S. I Love You...

well, it's been a long summer.  in 2 days austin will be home and i get to watch his plane land from the flight line, waving my little american flag and probably shedding a few tears of happiness and relief.  the blog will be out of commission for a few weeks until we get back into the groove of things and start getting tired of being with each other all the time :)  we skyped from germany today and are both sooooo excited!! 

before i go, i just have to tell you about the enviro-nut in our development!  he is the most unusual creature to me.  a nice looking, middle aged man...always dressed in a suit...always driving his clean, white volvo...not the usual "character" you'd expect.  he flies around and pulls over the car, often times into oncoming traffic, opens the door, picks up rando pieces of litter laying about, and zips off as if he's the caped trash crusader of broad daylight.  he doesn't wave or explain himself, he never smiles, he just picks up trash and speeds off like he's up to something.  highly unusual and just plain weird if you ask me.  but thank you unknown man for picking up the white trash trash on the street in front of my house!  i wonder if he's the dad of the kid that walks these streets day in and out, rain or shine, with his ipod, singing his songs at the top of his lungs...until he sees you watching that is.
