well...the peas are in and sprouting! spring has sprung here in little rock! OOO-DA-LALLY!!! today was 80 degrees and gorgeous. i'll take a mild winter and an early spring even if it means a disgusting summer! don't care. this is what i love about little rock. warmth. humidity. shit blooming in february. it's chicken soup for the southern soul. good grief, it's time to bust out my tink feeders and buy me some porch plants and dig my canta bulbs out of the coat closet! (thanks ma) it's time to stop cleaning the house and start puttin on my gardening gloves.
speaking of cleaning the house...dear pandora, your adele station sucks. ADELE is not michael buble. ADELE does not sound like sara bareilles. ADELLLLLLE is NOT adult contemporary. where are you getting this (from)? ADELE is on my ipod 24/7 and none of the other crappy music in your playlist (is). (haha bum) so from now on when i need you, it will be for glenn miller and frank sinatra and the whacky artists my husband likes...but not for my favorite pop star. nope.

news flash:
*austin is leaving in 9 days for an iron swap back to the desert. translation: flying a new plane to the deployed guys in afghanistan and bringing their old plane back for maintenance. hopefully a short and uneventful trip. hopefully.
*6/30 i'll be in oregon for kelcie's wedding (yay!!). this is my summer trip this year so i won't be making it home :( total bummer. i know. but this is why God invented skype. moses.
*i DO have a beautiful guest room for any one of my loyal readers who'd like to come visit! Seriously. COME VISIT!

Jessi, Jillian would do fine! You'd have a blast, GO!! But since you only have one child it maybe nice to fly. Would she have to be in a car seat on the plane? If so then you wouldn't have to worry about not having a car seat while in little rock. For us, it would be rough we still have three in car seats, they most likely wouldn't need them on the plane but till we got out to little rock and had to rent a car to fit us all and the car seats, it makes more sense to drive. We wouldn't all fit in Beks car if we wanted to go away while in little rock. Anyway, you should go either by car or plane:)

they don't let you take car seats on the plane, you have to hold the baby and check the car seats! i advise strongly against driving by yourself. it's WAY too far without someone to share the responsibility :) unless you're a seasoned truck driver of course. so it's settled flamer, you're coming!!! sweeeet! ;-D

I wish you were here to garden with me....except that gardening here involves swinging a pick-axe, descending into muddy holes (or pumping till your arms want to explode), and carrying a million buckets of water...so, is that still gardening?
